As directed by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, the National Science Centre, Guwahati has launched a special initiative to provide free visits for underprivileged children from the North-East region. The aim is to inspire and engage them in the world of science through interactive and hands-on experiences.
During their visit, various science demonstrations and activities are organized to promote learning in a fun and practical way. The Centre also provides free transportation for the round trip, refreshments, and a scientific gift item for each participating child.
This programme is specially designed to uplift underprivileged children by fostering scientific awareness, curiosity, and critical thinking.
